My new urban theme song! Rap is a huge way for folks in the urban community to express themselves about how they feel. I collaborated with some young guys in the hood and we talked about things that have effected their parents, brothers and sister, friends, and relatives. Some have already experienced their mothers and fathers having to leave their homes because of foreclosure and the down turn in the market. The interesting thing is that most are very conscious about the downturn in the market and are concerned. The more we spoke, the more animated they got about what has happened in their lives. This is a sample of what they came up with. Information is powerful.
